    We are seeking an experienced Town Planner with commercial and private client experience to join our team on a full-time basis.

    The role is flexible, allowing for remote work from any of our offices or as a fully remote position.

    Our consultancy focuses on rural property management and development, covering land management, sporting and forestry management, estate agency, and utility work.

    We strive to maintain the highest industry standards while supporting the growth of our teams in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

    The ideal candidate will have experience working on rural planning from either a consultancy, house builder, or local authority.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide a comprehensive planning service, working alongside the architectural and surveying teams.
    • Support with obtaining statutory consents for developments across farm and rural areas.
    • Cover all phases of planning projects, providing accurate and timely advice to clients across the UK.
    • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
    • Prepare and submit planning applications, also covering appeals and negotiations with local authorities or stakeholders.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Degree qualified in Town Planning or similar.
    • MRTPI membership is essential.
    • Proven experience in a similar position focused on land and rural developments.
    • Strong understanding of UK planning laws and regulations, including knowledge of agricultural and forestry permits.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
    • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.
