- Expression of Interest - 85% of billings for RACF (Nursing Home) Visits Fellow GP with a special interest in Aged Care 85% of billings for Nursing Home Visits, 65% for in practice consultations Flexible open term contracts with no restraint Regional location - Tamworth NSW The RoleTallowwood Health, industry leader and 2022 RACGP National General Practice of the Year, is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced part-time vocationally registered GPs who holds fellowship through the RACGP or ACRRM, have unrestricted registration with AHPRA, are enthusiastic about our goals and values and has a special interest in Aged Care. Currently, independent contracted General Practitioner's at Tallowwood Health each have a small number of RACG patients. Our aim is to consolidate this to boost patient care and workflow efficiencies. Expected RACF patient numbers can range from patients. There are options for in-practice consultations. After hours and annual leave will be covered by a practice shared on-call roster. The Practice
- GPs enjoy supported clinical autonomy – we provide GPs wanting to operate from our site high quality support services and established systems through the work of skilled nursing and administrations staff.
- On site engaged leadership – vision orientated – Tallowwood Health is a service provider for GPs, which is owned and operated by GPs.
- Good communication – approachable staff, regular clinical meetings, scheduled open "catch-ups", and cloud based electronic communication.
- Team orientated – ongoing investment in team development
- Established chronic disease management programs.
- Medium size – 7 GPs, 2 Registrars, 6 Nursing staff & 10 Admin
- Located in the medical precinct – central to specialist rooms and public & private hospitals
- Predominantly private billing for in-practice consultations.
- Even On-call and registrar / medical student teaching.
- At present, most GPs working from Tallowwood Health are not accepting new patients, reflecting the current demand for GP services.
- 8 GP consult rooms, 1 minor op room, 5 nurse rooms
- Booked appointments (no walk-ins)
