The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Service team based in Somerton. Reporting to the Branch Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespeople with their day-to-day tasks, working on some of Australia's leading earthmoving equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material handling and setup of equipment, ensuring timely preparation for work schedules.
2. Coordinate tasks and prepare jobs, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
3. Ensure accurate completion of reports and paperwork within designated timelines.
4. Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
5. Conduct all work in accordance with quality and safety standards, adhering to established procedures.
6. Maintain rental fleet alongside qualified trades personnel, promoting efficient operations.

To Be Successful

1. Prior experience as a trades assistant or similar role is essential.
2. Previous hand and power tooling experience is highly regarded.
3. Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
4. Show ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
5. Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service etiquette.
6. Display an unwavering commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
