    Responsibilities:

    This is a full-time permanent position based at our new head offices located in St Leonards.

    In this diverse role, you'll apply your financial accounting skillset across all business entities including but not limited to:

    • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reports.
    • Accrued revenue calculation and journal posting for entities.
    • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
    • Oversee the completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets register.
    • Assist in preparation of year end accounts and audit requirements.
    • Provide information as required for new business/tender requests for the group.
    • Provide accounting support to the Finance Team
    • GST / BAS / FBT completion and lodgements for entities in the RCC group
    • Assist in preparation of income tax returns

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    • Confident & collaborative communicator
    • Self-motivated and intuitively natured

    Desired experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus but not a must
    • Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems, including but not limited to QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems.
    • Familiarity with Australian taxation and accounting standards.
