Casual & Permanent Positions Available

Casual Payrate - Between $40 - $45/Hr

Permanent Payrate - Between $35 - $39/hr

Our client is a well-established engineering company based in the northern suburbs who are involved with the manufacture of both large and small complex equipment, components & structures from a variety of industry sectors.

To be successful in the role you will need to have proficiency and experience in operating a range of precision machinery primarily with Heidenhain controls.

• Skills must include setting, operating and programming of Haas, Pinnicle, HSM & Nicholas Correa CNC milling machines and/or CNC Lathes.
• Either toolmaking, fitting and machining or mechanical engineering certificate preferably with qualifications (IE Aust. Recognised).
• Conversant in Heidenhain (Preferred) or series control languages with experience in shop-floor programming in a precision engineering jobbing shop environment.
• Working knowledge of other types of machine tools, both CNC and conventional.
• Edgecam or Solidcam programming experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to inspect completed work for conformance to specification using various measuring equipment
