- Design, develop, test and supervise the installation of electrical systems, equipment and components
- Prepare estimates, participate in tender preparations, update engineering plans and calculate project costs
- Develop, maintain and review documentation and drawings - schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications
- Develop reports and training manuals
- Conduct research to develop new and innovative electrical systems, devices, and products
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Electrical Engineering qualification
- Mining or Oil & Gas background
- Previous experience leading / supervising a team of BAU and / or Project Engineers
- Knowledge of wireless infrastructure design and construction
- Ability to interpret and produce technical and electrical design drawings, schematics and highly detailed documentation
- Design software / electrical drawings experience – AutoCAD, MicroStation etc.
- Solar PV

- Battery Backup Systems incl. generators
- Telecommunications power supplies
- Electrical testing & system commissioning – functional, compliance, factory and site acceptance testing
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Power distribution systems – low & high voltage, alarm monitoring systems etc.
