    Aon Australia's Global & Corporate client segment specializes in providing exceptional Insurance and Risk Advisory Services to a diverse portfolio of organizations, including ASX-listed companies and multinationals.

    We are seeking an experienced senior sales leader to oversee our team of highly motivated Business Development Executives.

    The role involves managing the daily operations of the sales desk, ensuring that the team meets their targets while achieving individual sales goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and lead the segment's growth strategy for mid-market new business targets across various industry sectors.
    • Oversee day-to-day activity of the sales desk, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
    • Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
    • Drive a robust, disciplined, and accurate sales pipeline aligned to delivering on the team's sales targets.
    • Work with the marketing team to devise campaigns and insights from lead generation to tenders and pitch presentations.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the middle market of the Australian economy.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Negotiate with other sales leaders throughout Aon to ensure the overall sales community is highly connected and collaborative.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
    • Network throughout the firm to maximize Aon's broader suite of products and solutions.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Strong solution/insurance product expertise and a willingness to develop a solid understanding of core products and solutions required by middle-market sized Australian businesses.
    • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the insurance or risk management industry.
    • Great interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and a resilient attitude.
    • Strong understanding of Aon's core products and solutions.
    • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve high performance.
    • Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships across the firm.
    • Strategic problem solver with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to mentor the team in these areas.

    Estimated Salary:

    $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
