    Aboutthe Role:

    SoftLabsis seeking System Administrator for ICT Labour hire at their technologyconsulting based in Canberra.

    Responsibilities:

    • Installing and configuringsoftware and networks
    • Monitoring systemperformance and troubleshooting issues
    • Ensuring security andefficiency of IT infrastructure
    • Manage network servers andtechnology tools
    • Set up accounts andworkstations
    • Troubleshoot issues andoutages
    • Ensure security throughaccess controls, backups and firewalls
    • Upgrade systems with newreleases and models
    • Build an internal wikiwith technical documentation, manuals and IT policies


    • Demonstrable experiencein identifying the hardware and software system requirements for complex IT systems, or Cyber Securitysystems.


    • Experience in ensuring thatsystem designs suitably consider function, service quality, security,maintenance and sustainability requirements.


    • Experience in integratingtechnology in an Enterprise, Government or Multinational system focusing on automated data transfer orCyber security.


    • Experience in support,maintenance and enhancement of existing software ensuring applicationavailability.


    • Experience in team leadershipand proven skills in planning, design, implementation hardening and maintainingone or more of the following technology domains;

    b. CloudSystems administration

    c.Network and security administration


    • Experience in designing,developing and delivering DevOps or SecOps environments, including system toolsfor scripts and automation processes, log analysis and metric reporting.


    • Experience in Cyber Securityor a related domain would be highly regarded.


    • Experienced in developing anddeploying software within a Linux / UNIX environment.


    • Experience in Linux and/orWindows administration is desirable.


    • Experience in the use ofautomation and deployment tools is desirable.


    • Demonstrable experience inthe identification and analysis of systems, security investigations, orauditing and proven ability to work closely with related stakeholders torecommend and implement remediation actions.
