    Job Title: System Administrator

    Location: Perth, Australia

    About the Role

    This is a highly technical Systems Administrator position that offers an attractive base salary and potential for a permanent role. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth IT operations by providing comprehensive end-user hardware/software and application services support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • IT Support: Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues and problems.
    • Subject Matter Expert: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
    • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve application-related issues.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets.
    • Project Planning: Assist in IT project planning, including requirements gathering, scheduling, and risk management.
    • Configuration Management: Perform configuration management and ensure security compliance.

    Your Skills and Experience

    • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of LAN topology, routers, hubs, switches, firewalls, and protocols like WAN/MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, and SNMP.
    • Microsoft Server Platforms: Basic understanding of Microsoft Server platforms (Windows Server, Terminal Services, Citrix, Active Directory, Exchange/Outlook).
    • Cloud and On-Premise Services: Familiarity with cloud and on-premise services, including SharePoint and IIS.
    • Office Products: Competence in Microsoft Office products and Apple iPhone support.
    • Education: University degree or industry-recognized qualification in Information Technology or equivalent skills and experience.
    • Project Management: Experience in project management or familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
