    About the Role
    You will be joining a diverse and experienced team managing an extensive range of services across acute, subacute, outpatient and community settings. Located in the heart of Fitzroy, the Prosthetics and Orthotics department has a strong focus on evidence-based practice, clinical supervision, education and training.

    Responsibilities of this dual-practicing role will include:

    • Pre and post operative amputee management and rehabilitation
    • Definitive outpatient prosthetic management of all levels, including high-end NDIS service provision
    • Provision of orthotic care through a weekly high risk foot clinic

    Classifications for this position will range from CP3 - CP51 ($88, $101,691.20 per annum)

    Your Contribution

    • Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent)
    • Membership of the Australian Orthotic and Prosthetic Association
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a clinical Prosthetist/Orthotist
    • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
    • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain

    About The Prosthetics and Orthotics Department
    The Prosthetics and Orthotics department at St. Vincent's hospital (SVHM) is primarily based at the Fitzroy campus, however also operates clinics out of St. Georges Health service in Kew. The department provides and extensive range of services covering all areas of adult prosthetic and orthotic management including treatment within the specialty sarcoma service and correctional health. The P&O department is a registered NDIS provider.
