    Job Title: Technical Writer

    We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and creating technical documentation for the maintenance and operation of plant and equipment, driving the creation of documentation methodology and framework, and maintaining proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency.

    About the Role:

    • Interpreting, analysing and producing technical documentation for site assess following Process Safety & Asset Management principles
    • Maintaining and updating plant and equipment documentation in line with principal and legislative requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Developing and creating technical documentation for the maintenance and operation of plant and equipment
    • Driving the creation of documentation methodology and framework
    • Maintaining proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency
    • Interpreting, analysing and producing technical documentation for site assess following Process Safety & Asset Management principles

    Requirements:

    • Strong Technical Writing skills and heavy industry experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in English or equivalent qualification
    • Previous experience in heavy industry, mining or engineering environment
    • Extensive experience architecting complex site documents and documentation sets, information design and structured authorising documents
    • The ability to learn complex drafting and engineering concepts quickly and explain with clarity and technical accuracy
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Word and Excel specifically
    • Understanding of engineering drafting standards and processes with a proven track record, preferably in the heavy engineering industry (preferable)
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
    • Customer-centric approach in all activities and decisions
