    Job Description:

    Amida Recruitment Ltd, a renowned professional project management and advisory consultancy, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their Sydney office. This dynamic firm offers excellent career development, progression, and culture.

    The ideal candidate will have project experience in the government sector, specifically in Health & Education. However, work varies across other sectors as well. Candidates can come from client-side consultancy, main contractor, or consulting engineering firms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client management and consultation
    • Project Planning/Feasibility studies
    • Design Management
    • Liaison with authorities for DA submission
    • Design Management and Value Engineering
    • Procurement of construction services
    • Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent of construction delivery
    • Commissioning and post contract duties for handover
    • Oversight and delivery of the project

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
    • Minimum 1-3 years+ experience within the construction industry
    • Sound understanding of overall construction programmes and plans
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High-level interpersonal skills
    • Experience working within a team environment
    • Ability to build rapport at all levels
    • Advanced computer literacy
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
    • Previous client-side project management experience is ideal
