- Receives, checks, stores all incoming stock shipments.
- Reports damaged goods, incorrect goods and quantities received to the office and disposes of
- rejected goods in accordance to published work instructions.
- Participates in the taking of physical inventories.
- Makes recommendations on warehouse layout, records, order handling and similar matters that
- would improve warehousing operations.
- Assembles and prepares goods for shipment as required by order including the necessary
- weighing, counting, marking and preparation of shipping papers.
- Maintains warehouse and receiving areas in clean and orderly conditions.
- Expected to be fully aware of safety and housekeeping standards.
- Fully understand levels of quality required for all tasks and operations related to the section. STATUS AND SCOPE: Responsible to Senior Store Person.NORMAL QUALIFICATIONS: School Certificate preferred. Current forklift license.EXPERIENCE: Three to four years experience as general store person.
