Network Engineer - Canberra, Australia - Zone IT Solutions

Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability, stability, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Expertise in implementing and managing large-scale ICT networks, including switching and routing.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and network technologies.
• Familiarity with geographically dispersed and constrained networks, including associated security threats and mitigations.
• Experience in developing solutions for private cloud or tenancy.
• Proficiency in building and deploying network environments with a focus on virtualization and platform layers.
• Hands-on experience with Arista equipment.
• Understanding of Hypervisor/Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Active Directory, and PKI certificate services.
• Ability to translate requirements, standards, and frameworks into practical network designs.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
