    Company Description

Backed by a worldwide partnership of professional services firms, KPMG aims to play a leading role in a rapidly advancing digital transformation. As the use of technology explodes and IT spending continues to increase, the best way for KPMG to remain competitive is to invest centrally and take advantage of cloud technologies provided through KPMG's Global Technology Platform ("One Platform"). The key business benefit of moving solutions to the Cloud is giving focus, speed, and agility to the business. At present, updating IT functionality requires significant effort from member firms locally and globally, and limits tool advancement. Moving to the cloud is therefore essential, as it provides the scale and agility needed to make regular updates and quickly introduce new functionality as it becomes available.

The ultimate vision for KPMG is that member firms and their customers will access IT functionality through One Platform, which is KPMG's tailored and secured implementation of Microsoft Azure. This approach will ensure local and global agility, quality, security and consistency. Providing access to advanced computing power and significantly streamlining development and deployment efforts at both global and country levels.

KPMG's One Platform is the organizational unit continuously developing and improving the platform to provide secure, predictable and flexible service delivery and operations capability. One Platform Operations also enables faster business innovation through adoption of cloud services and business agility and reduced time-to-market. One Platform Operations is delivering support with teams across the world.

To enable and foster the value of the One Platform, it requires new ways of working for many parts of the current IT organization. One Platform acting as a Service Broker (create/maintain and publish reusable certified deployment packages that align with security, compliance and service management policies). For this reason, we need new modern skillsets, to run and grow the maturity of the organization and dealing with the fast demand of our business. So, we are on a journey to become the Cloud Center of Excellence to enable the KPMG global business to grow fast with new technology from the One Platform.
