Privacy Officer Fixed term (24 months) - Full time role

The purpose of the Privacy Officer role is to provide informed policy advice and support to corporate and school-based staff, projects and programs around information privacy.

As part of the Privacy Team, this role will respond to privacy enquiries and complaints, and will support any
privacy incidents experienced by the Department, including those occurring in schools. The Privacy Officer will also
prepare resources and support departmental programs and projects through the provision of advice and review of
privacy impact assessments.

The incumbent will actively build their knowledge of privacy legislation and practice to assist the Department in
meeting its legislative and policy obligations around the management of personal and health information.
