    Description

    We are seeking your events co-ordination experience for this temporary assignment, working with a government department for approximately 2-3 days/week in Ipswich.

    Day-to-day tasks include:

    • Event co-ordination and administration including venue bookings and quotes
    • Venue tours
    • Sourcing quotes (catering and equipment)
    • Creating and maintaining budgets
    • Maintaining spreadsheets
    • Associated administration

    To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:

    • Previous events co-ordination and administration experience is essential
    • Intermediate+ skills in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook)
    • Confident communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Proven ability to multi-task and organise your workload to meet competing deadlines
    • A strong customer service focus with the ability to build rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders

    The duration of this temporary assignment is anticipated to be 2-3 months and the casual hourly pay rate is $46.27 (plus superannuation).
