Talent Web is partnering with a private equity-backed global market leader headquartered on the North Shore.

Renowned for its innovation and international presence, our client is committed to driving finance transformation and maintaining its position as an industry frontrunner.

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to spearhead financial accounting compliance, statutory reporting, and tax compliance initiatives.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the corporate finance function, collaborating with stakeholders to meet financial objectives and drive strategic growth through enhanced systems and processes

Key Responsibilities:
Manage group financial, statutory, and taxation obligations
Oversee existing finance systems, ensuring effectiveness of processes and controls
Lead the design, implementation, and review of new finance processes and systems
Support corporate teams, commercial finance team, and divisional accounting teams
Prepare annual budgets for the corporate function

Qualifications and Experience:
CA/CPA qualified, ideally with a background in a Big 4 / Top tier audit firm
Proven track record in technical leadership and financial control
Ability to engage with executives and shareholders, working autonomously
Experience in financial reporting and taxation
Strong capability in creating and implementing new processes
Ability to adapt to business changes in a growing company
Maintain and enhance control environment across finance processes and procedures
