What you'll do:
Planning effective auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Auditing financial statements and assessing accounts for regulatory compliance
Inspecting internal systems and controls to identify any potential risks or issues
Assessing risk management tactics to ensure they are effective and appropriate
Performing audits of non-financial areas such as Health & Safety and IT
Reporting systematic errors or fraud indicators to relevant parties
Investigating specific issues that regulatory bodies bring forward
Explaining audit findings clearly and recommending suitable solutionsWhat you bring:
Possession of a relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field
Proven experience in external auditing is essential for this role
Strong understanding of accounting procedures and regulations
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to assess risk management tactics effectively
Experience in auditing non-financial areas such as Health & Safety and IT would be advantageous
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
