About the Opportunity

We are seeking individuals with a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to assist in the delivery of a newly awarded project. As a site-based HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for maintaining NRW's strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the project team in planning, delivery, and implementation of safe work practices
• Train employees in hazard and incident prevention
• Conduct investigations into incidents and develop corrective actions
• Inspect HSE processes, systems, programs, and site locations to identify areas for improvement
• Develop innovative solutions to balance productivity and safety
• Implement and support HSE education and training programs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a HSE Advisor in a construction or civil resources environment
• Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
• ICAM Lead Investigator trained
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Strong communication and computer skills
• FIFO site-based experience
• Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations
