    Full-Stack Developer

    WeAreDigital is a strategic transformation and e-commerce consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia. Our team of 20+ professionals is dedicated to crafting seamless commerce solutions for top brands.

    About the Role:

    You will be an integral part of a cross-functional squad, including developers, designers, strategic consultants, and project managers. Reporting to our Technical Director, you will support the technology stream by driving innovation and maintaining best practices across a modern toolkit.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate within your squad to support client goals and business objectives.
    2. Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning e-commerce and digital solutions.
    3. Ensure the delivery of high-quality work across various projects, adhering to deadlines.
    4. Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across squads.
    5. Identify and resolve technical challenges, providing solutions to both team members and clients.
    6. Pursue continuous improvement in performance and digital strategy implementation.
    7. Mentor fellow developers through constructive feedback & code reviews.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within an agency environment.
    • Expertise in HTML5+, ES6+, CSS3+, and JavaScript frameworks (Remix, React, TypeScript).
    • Solid experience with Shopify liquid templates and API integrations.
    • Proficiency in full-stack development (Node.js, AWS Lambda,) and creating responsive, mobile-first designs.
    • Familiarity with GIT, third-party APIs, web performance optimisation, and accessibility standards.
    • Agile and scrum experience, complemented by exceptional communication skills.

    Bonus Points For:

    • A strong appreciation for design and experience working alongside design teams.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD, headless CMS (e.g., Contentful), and CSS in JS.
    • Experience with other e-commerce platforms (Magento, BigCommerce, etc.).
    • An enthusiastic approach to continuous learning and self-improvement.
