The Department of Health is seeking a leader to join the Orthotic Prosthetic Services Tasmania (OPST) team.

As a member of our diverse and energetic team, you will be working alongside orthotists, prosthetists, physiotherapists, orthopaedic technicians, and administrators who share our passion for patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the orthotic and/or prosthetic clinical teams within OPST.
• Coordinate the provision of an efficient and effective orthotic and/or prosthetic service.
• Facilitate consumer perspectives in service design and provide support and training for clinical, technical, and administrative teams.
• Collaborate effectively with peer services, interdisciplinary teams, and referrers to provide client-centred, evidence-based orthotic and prosthetic services.

Appointment Details:

This is a permanent, part-time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.

Salary Package:

Salaries range from $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata), with an additional Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.

Essential Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Orthotics and Prosthetics and evidence of membership of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association.
• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.

Desirable Criteria:

• Current Driver's Licence.
• Post-graduate qualifications relevant to the requirements of the position.
