- Use company and manufacturer systems to identify, source and sell spare parts
- Ensure timely supply of parts through the procurement, receival and dispatch process
- Prepare invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock
- Develop, recommend and implement improvements in the administrative procedures and routines for the retail parts counter and the warehouse to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency
- Maintain regular contact with customers and internal departments in order to meet, develop and exceed expectations
- Participate in stocktaking activities
- Manage the customer and supplier return stock processes in accordance with company guidelines
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form across all levels of the business as well as with third parties of the business
- Identify and solve problems, where appropriate, introduce new and improved processes
- Assist in promoting a culture of team collaboration
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Experience working in stores or warehousing, or alternatively workshops, within the heavy industries sector. You might be a Store Person, Tradie or Trades Assistant who is ready for a change of scenery.
- Bucketloads of drive, energy, and autonomy, with a can-do attitude. You go the distance to deliver excellence to internal and external customers.
- You can pass a medical and drug & alcohol test with your eyes closed (but not literally because it includes an eye test).
- Charismatic personality, with the ability to get on the good side of your manager, team, customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
- We know this goes without saying, but just in case you thought we forgot ... pretty decent computing skills.
