    What we offer:

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. This is a project based role with the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasks
  • Attending sales and project review meetings
  • Develop system designs and layouts
  • Manage design schedule, budget and work orders
  • Liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants and purchasing team
  • Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical documentation
  • Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans
  • Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees
  • Assist with system commissioning and testing
  • Tasks and Qualifications:

    Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical engineering processes
  • Experience in a similar Project Engineer position, working on large scale projects
  • Experience using project management programs
  • Experience in AutoCAD designer
  • Experience in Autodesk Inventor would be an advantage
  • Experience in developing technical documentation such as product and training manuals
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • A detailed engineer that can specifically handle increasing requirements for modelling to use in BIM (Building Integration Management) tools
