    A rare opportunity has arisen for aControls and Quality Business Partnerto join our esteemed Health Insurance (HI) team, driven by internal career advancements.

    As a Controls and Quality Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering first-line HI Assurance methodology, overseeing controls and providing assurance to uphold the highest standards in health insurance.

    This is a permanent, full-time role and may be based at our Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices with flexible hybrid work arrangements available.

    Quarterly interstate planned travel is required with this role.
    How will I help?

    Reporting to the Head of Controls and Quality, you'll support the HI business division in the effective and efficient delivery of the control requirements relating to governance, risk, clinical, quality, health & safety and compliance frameworks which are consistent with Bupa A&NZ frameworks.

    Leading a small team, together you'll undertake control assessment field work supporting with process reviews, control design and documentation; control reviews including for design and operating effectiveness; supporting control and quality improvement initiatives; development and implementation of analytics and reporting; and supporting incident management, issue management processes and change initiatives.

    In addition, you'll add value by educating stakeholders, delivering training arising from control assurance, quality and audit findings.

    You'll act as process change leader to ensure the integrity of the quality system is maintained as the organisation grows and changes, including the review of existing, and the creation of new documentation.

    What do I need?

    The role demands deep commercial knowledge, with practical experience in implementing risk and control frameworks and initiatives, preferably gained within a financial/regulated setting.

    You'll be passionate about controls, quality, and continuous improvement, are curious with a sense of structure and strong prioritisation skills.

    With your keen attention to detail, you excel as a proficient report writer and thrive in the challenge of crafting and delivering captivating presentations.

    You'll thrive when working as part of a team, creating positive relationships as a trusted and respected leader.
    You're experienced in cultivating and empowering direct reports to excel, creating a culture of challenge, reflection and change.
    Whilst not essential, qualifications in risk and associated disciplines will be treated favourably.
