The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our National Operations and Supply Chain team in our BlueScope Building Components business as a SeniorSupply Chain Analyst. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

We've got a lot happening in BBC, now and into the future, with a pipeline of current and upcoming projects awaiting you. In this exciting role, you'll be a subject matter expert, deploying digital enablers to improve our supply chain so we can make optimal business decisions in real time. Being someone who brings an innovative and future focused approach to data analytics, you'll be keen to bring all levels of our wider BBC business on board with your data driven discoveries. By sharing your insights in an impactful and meaningful format, you'll inspire the collaboration and buy-in we need to capture all business opportunities to deliver market leading customer service and profitability.

Our team work at our manufacturing site in Archerfield. We have office locations throughout the Gold Coast and can offer flexibility with a hybrid arrangement (part office / part working from home).

What Will You Do?

As someone with an engaging and consultative style, you'll be showcasing your analytical thinking and commercial acumen across all layers of our organisation. You'll;

• drive the digitalisation of our reporting framework to deliver methodical analysis and cleansing of data with a focus on reporting
• design and build end-to-end analysis and review existing systems to capture performance improvements within the supply chain function
• promote data driven insights with the purpose of lifting the capability and knowledge of the wider business in supply chain best practices
• contribute to and take the lead in cross-functional projects requiring your specialist expertise
• be creative and innovative in the format and communications channels used to make strategic recommendations

More About You

With demonstrated capability to explore new ideas through innovation and continuous improvement, you'll have solid analytic skills keen to drive and implement solutions. You'll bring;

• understanding and experience in network analytics shown through data interpretation
• ability to make sense of large volumes of data from different sources
• effective relationship management and influencing capability
• a willingness to connect with the business and drive improvements
• capability to manage complex information working across multiple business stakeholders
• ability to integrate data using SQL or other program languages
• demonstrated experience utilising visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau or Power BI)
