Senior Financial Accountant | Resilium Insurance BrokingDescriptionWe are looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Financial Accountant who will be based in our Sydney office

In this role as Senior Financial Accountant, you will be part of the Resilium Financial team, reporting to the Financial Controller.

You will be responsible for a mix of financial accounting, management accounting, cashflow management and acquisition onboarding duties.

You will have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects within a small and supportive team environment, led by finance leaders who are passionate about training and mentoring.

Manage financial operations in a small team
Month end reporting and analysis
Cashflow management
Intercompany reconciliation
Maintain the general ledger
Finance onboarding of new acquisitions
Tax compliance including GST, FBT, ITR
Statutory reporting and compliance
Stakeholder management and engagement
Ad hoc projects and process improvements.

About you:
Previous experience as a Financial Accountant
Self-motivated and ability to meet tight deadlines
Great attention to detail and the ability to be proactive
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Prior experience with Xero and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Previous experience in the insurance industry will be highly regarded.
