Seeking an E&R lawyer looking for high quality work within a high performing and reputable team to join a widely recognised top-tier firm.

Your New Firm
This practice group has substantial experience in all aspects of major energy and resources projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Asia and internationally, including the preparation and negotiation of complex exploration, production, operating/management, infrastructure, commodity sale and marketing arrangements, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestments, project development and financing and tax.

This practice was recognised in Chambers Asia Pacific Guide 2019.

Your New Role
Your new role will expose you to market leading M&A and project development transactions in the energy sector, including wind, solar and pumped hydro; battery storage and virtual power; hydrogen; decarbonisation and energy transmission.

You will also advise on complex M&A, joint ventures and project development within the oil, gas and mining sectors.

Your Skills Profile

• At least 3 years PAE in renewables, oil & gas, mining or corporate law;
• Experience working in a top-tier law firm environment;
• Strong technical skills; and
• Keen interest in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.
