THE ROLE

MQ Health's Hotel Services Department is currently seeking dynamic, efficient individuals to join our team as a Casual Catering Assistant. Join us as we deliver outstanding customer and hospitality services to our clients, staff, and visitors within Macquarie University Hospital.

Role Requirements

Experience in preparing food in an appealing and hospitable manner

Reliable and detail-oriented in order to meet the dietary needs of patients and escalate these needs within the team as required

Maintains good customer relations and ensures service concerns are addressed in a timely manner

Motivated and committed contributor and effective team-player

Prepares food for patients, visitors and staff in an appealing and hospitable manner

Relays any needs of patients (including special diets) to the Executive Chef – General Services

Maintains work practice according to hospital policies, procedures and standards
