- Develop, implement, manage and evaluate multi-channel communications plans to support business initiatives, projects and tactical campaigns, ensuring these are delivered on time and within budget.
- Working collaboratively and in partnership across the External Affairs division and WorkSafe business units to provide specialised services that ensure marketing and communications initiatives meet stakeholder needs, our marketing plans and WorkSafe's strategic priorities.
- Supporting he delivery of business events, forums and change initiatives.
- Working with the Research Management team to apply market research methods to understand emerging trends and technologies and use insight to optimise projects.
- Managing external suppliers such as creative agencies, graphic designers, print and direct marketing agencies to deliver communications activities.
- Creating and capturing accurate and complete records of the business activities related to this position, in accordance with approved policy and procedures. This is applicable to both hardcopy and electronic information, including email
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate issues or messages clearly, simply and effectively to a range of audiences
- Strong planning and organisational skills, and an ability to manage workflow and priorities, including managing multiple concurrent activities
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships, with highly developed influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience operating in a politically sensitive, stakeholder focussed and issues-rich environment

About the role
The Marketing & Communications Advisor (WorkWell) is part of the Communications Business Partnering team, which delivers and supports the marketing communications needs of WorkSafe's business units.
This position works closely with the Manager, Communications Business Partnering and the WorkWell team to deliver communications that support the WorkWell Program.
WorkSafe's WorkWell Program is a large scale, multi-pronged initiative designed to help Victorian employers prevent mental injuries and promote mental health and wellbeing at work by providing access to tools and resources, funding and networking opportunities. Key accountabilities include:
