The Company
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Reporting Accountant to join a multinational FinTech business in the Melbourne CBD.
The role is initially as a 6-month contract and requires someone to start work immediately.
High performers will be considered for extension or looked at for alternative opportunities throughout this developing business once the contract is complete.
The Role
As Financial Reporting Accountant you will be reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, working amongst a team of 10 you will be expected to ease the work load on the existing team members by taking responsibility for some the advanced financial duties.

About You
You must be a highly motivated CA/CPA Accounting professional who is available to start immediately – individuals who have to work a notice period will not be considered for this role.
Given the current working environment this role may be required to be onboarded from home. Individuals must be able to work autonomously and be disciplined in meeting important deadlines.
This individual has to demonstrate experience working on financials from a previous commercial firm or Public Practice. You will be extremely adaptable and have capability to work on multiple tasks whilst meeting tight deadlines.
Previous experience working with SAP would be of an advantage but not essential.
