    Description

    Our Federal Government Agency seeks to engage Cloud Software Engineerswith solid understanding of software development principles as well as knowledge/skills with Azure or other cloud technologies.

    You will have a particular interest in cloud-native development and infrastructure as code.
    12 months contract renewable - Role can be performed in Canberra head office or Sydney or Melbourne
    AU Citizenship is a must as per obtaining baseline clearance

    Responsibilities

    Requirements analysis
    Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
    Write clean, maintainable, & scalable code
    Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
    Revise, update, refactor & debug code
    Assist with operations support duties
    Test and deploy applications and systems
    Improve and maintain existing software


    Candidate Capabilities:

    Mandatory experience:
    Developing & delivering enterprise web applications utilising established development tools

    .

    NET
    Java Script / Typescript
    Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
    SQL / Entity Framework
    CI/CD Practices


    Highly Desirable experience:
    Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code
    Azure Devops pipeline automation
    Power Shell & Git
    Test automation
    Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Agile methodologies.
