Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Sutherland NSW 2232

Our client Create Catering is seeking an experienced full-time Chef to join their team located in Sutherland, New South Wales.

Tasks required include:

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and related outlets
• Plan menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service
• Liaise with Restaurant employees regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes
• Delegate duties and responsibilities to kitchen employees to ensure service demands are met
• Maintain presentation standards for all food whilst maintain recipe standards
• Ensure stock is ordered & rotated accordingly & minimum wastage. Must maintain strick stock control procedures
• Fulfil duties in the preparation & production of food as requested & delegate duties to other employees where fit
• Must ensure all working areas are clean & tidy, all equipment must be cleaned, serviced & maintained to OHS standards
• Must be willing to learn procedures and co-ordinate with head chef.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
• At least three (3) years of prior experience as a Chef
• Prior experience in a Catering.
