    Description

    The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital works projects for TasWater that will meet the needs of TasWater's business, their stakeholders and the communities of Tasmania for years to come. The TasWater CDO manages the TasWater Capital Works Program from inception to completion including the planning, design, procurement, and delivery phases.

    We are proud of our great team here at TasWater (CDO) and are on the lookout for an experienced Safety Advisor who will provide advice and drive safety performance across the TasWater CDO.

    This exciting role is a permanent full-time position and is based in Hobart.

    About the role:

    • Drive improvements in safety performance through the delivery CDO safety programs
    • Identifying and managing WH&S risks within the business
    • Providing advice on ad supporting a safe and healthy workplace
    • Ensuring that practices reflect the highest standards in WH&S
    • Proactively participating adhoc projects, initiatives and tasks as required by the Safety Lead

    What you will have:

    • 5 years + WH&S experience
    • Diploma (ideal but not mandatory)
    • Flexibility
    • A Civil or mechanical/electrical/water infrastructure background.
