    About the Role
    We have an exciting 12 month contract opportunity for an experiencedSpecialist Account Managerto join our Cardiometabolic team.

    You will have full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within your territory; providing a consistent, science led and value-added service for Cardiology, Endocrinology and Renal.

    The Territory covers from Brisbane south to Gold Coast south, with regular regional travel throughout Queensland.

    Your role will be varied and will include:
    Implementing comprehensive key account plans to drive value and deliver growth
    Supporting the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK's standing in the healthcare market
    Ensuring that key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated and informed to support the patient journey and enhance the quality use of medicines
    Working in partnership with GSK commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives
    To be successful in this role you will have:
    Significant experience in hospital specialist or key account manager positions, with an applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment
    Experience and knowledge of the cardiology, endocrinology and renal therapeutic areas would be preferred
    Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders
    An aptitude for science, with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format
    A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing andrelationship-buildingskills.
