    About the Role
    The Youth Music and Arts Development Officer is based at the Darebin Youth Services, Decibels Youth Music and Arts Centre in Reservoir. The role supports young people explore their creative pursuits through music and arts programs, projects and events.

    You will use your skill and experience to build connections and trust with young people who access the services through planning and delivering a range of youth music and arts programs, activities and events.

    • Plan and deliver a range of youth music and arts programs, activities and events that engage and connect with young people in Darebin.

    • Provide specific support and referrals to young people via local partners and service supports.

    • Support young people explore their creative pursuits through and range of music and arts activities

    Skills & Experience

    • Qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, Community Development, Teaching/ Education or Social work
    • Experience and knowledge of facilitating music and arts programs or workshops that engage/ and or support young people.

    • Experience working with young people in a community of local government setting.

    • Relevant experience in local government, youth and or community services

    • A current employee Working with Children Card

    • A current Victorian Driver's Licence

    • Current First Aid Level and CPR
