    State Manager Western Australia Role

    HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker, providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry.

    We are seeking a State Manager to accelerate growth within our Western Australia HIAIS business.

    The State Manager will be responsible for:

    • Delivering strategic direction and profitable and sustainable growth of the business unit and client servicing teams.
    • Developing and maintaining infrastructure, resources, and expertise to meet sales, service, and administration requirements.
    • Developing best-in-class client relationships and enhancing client experiences.
    • Managing relationships with wider teams and promoting collaboration and driving mutually beneficial growth outcomes.
    • Leading the acquisition and engagement of HIAIS's major clients and prospects.
    • Providing leadership and motivation to staff, driving a positive and high achieving culture and enhance business performance.
    • Assisting in the development and implementation of client and underwriter service methodologies.

    Skill and experience required:

    • Demonstrated experience within the Insurance or broking industry, ideally within Building and Construction.
    • Experience in leading and working within a National Leadership team.
    • A strategic and execution-focused mindset.
    • Problem-solving and solutions-driven.
    • Strong communications and presentation skills.
    • Influencing and engaging with senior stakeholders at an Executive level.
