    Description

    The Role

    We are seeking a dedicated professional to work full-time in Bunbury, WA, assisting individuals with disabilities, their families, and carers to achieve their goals and live independently.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Empowering people with disabilities to increase their independence and social and economic participation.
    • Fostering connections between people with disabilities and community resources, promoting greater inclusion.
    • Collaborating with NDIS participants to develop and implement plans that support their goals.
    • Supporting NDIS participants to navigate the disability service system and optimise their engagement.
    • Improving community knowledge of the NDIS and creating opportunities for participants to access services.

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Knowledge of the local community and available options for social and economic participation.
    • Experience working with people with disabilities or a passion to learn about the disability sector.
    • Coaching, counseling, and connecting skills to identify and achieve positive outcomes.
    • Sympathy and compassion to understand diverse individual needs.
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems.
    • Access to your own transport and a current Working with Children Check.
