    The Company
    An experienced electrical engineering design consultancy and drafting services firm located in Brisbane, Australia.

    They service clients throughout Australia and internationally and after 17 years in existence, have now successfully completed over 650 projects.

    The company has a headcount of 20 so it is important that you enjoy working in a tight-knit collaborative work culture, where everyone works together to get great work over the line.

    Over half of their workforce have been with them for 10+ years, so they generate a long-term commitment from the staff, plus provide those staff members with scope for growth and professional development.

    The projects they handle are typically in that $30-$40k range but can be anything from $5k up to $250k.
    They are particularly strong across three main sectors –Mining, Water & Heavy Industry.
    Ideal Candidate Background
    Consultancy experience is ideal
    Mining/Water/Heavy Industry background would be advantageous.
    Comfortable and proven in two of the following four areas:
    Power systems design including modelling (preferably SKM PTW)
    LV/MV distribution and industrial design
    EEHA Classification and design
    LV Motor control and E&I design
    Primary Areas of Responsibility
    Work with the Project team and Design Support team to ensure:
    Electrical design work is implemented within the quality audit framework.
    Proactively manage project budgets and time schedules to ensure they are consistently met or exceeded.
    Exceed the client's expectations on engineering aptitude and budgetary expectations on every project.
    Timely quoting and scoping of projects for existing and new clients.
