    About the Opportunity

    The Business Analyst will be focused on providing general analytical support in addition to identifying trends in workforce and client data across Home & Community Care, in line with rostering best practice principles and efficiencies.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Your primary responsibility is to analyse existing processes within the organization. This includes mapping out the current workflow, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyse, monitor and report on data and analytics
  • Provide analysis and actionable insight, supporting the management of rostering/workforce opportunities and challenges in order to meet client and business needs.
  • Analyse and report on data to identify services experiencing rostering challenges such as pay queries, overtime, contract utilisation and workforce shortages.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting to Service Manager and broader HACC management.
  • Provide insights from data analysis and identify key trends to support strategies aimed at addressing key operational issues, challenges and risk.
  • Maintain and apply a sound knowledge of rostering requirements specific to the industry including best practice, new process/system developments and staff engagement.
  • Engage with the Systems Coordinator, wider Business Support team, Quality team and any other Key Stakeholders to develop benchmarking and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to workforce initiatives and projects across Home & Community Care as required.
  • Support the Home & Community Care stream as they continue to experience rapid growth and change.
  • About you

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience (HR, Business, Business Systems preferred)

    Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in your field of expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be organised, systematic, thorough, accurate and disciplined.
  • Possess good skills at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence
  • Demonstrated exposure to complex staff rostering, workforce planning or scheduling of large teams
  • Demonstrated experience analysing workforce and rostering data to identify opportunities and suggest improvements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of rostering systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rostering best practice principles
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • A demonstrated passion for social change and contributing to an organisation of influence for the most disadvantaged
  • Even better:

  • Demonstrated experience within the Aged Care industry, particularly Home & Community Care
  • Experience using rostering systems, including Alaya Care
