    The Opportunity:

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant to join our Planning team based Sydney CBD, NSW.

    Using your technical expertise and proven skills, you will actively support our clients by demonstrating a sound understanding of statutory and strategic urban planning to provide relevant advice and insights.

    You will:

  • Providing a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management;
  • Drafting submissions, proposals and advice for clients;
  • Responding quickly and communicating in a clear, concise and transparent manner to internal and external clients;
  • Providing input into draft proposals, tenders and submissions for projects;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives and Planning's Business Plan;
  • Working alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome;
  • Promoting the firm and its services to create business opportunities.
  • About You:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Urban Planning
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or related discipline
  • Some experience in statutory or strategic planning desirable, ideally gained in a consultancy or local government environment.
  • Able to prioritise the competing demands of multiple projects within the agreed timeframe.
  • Strong capability in written and verbal communications and engagement with a variety of stakeholders.
  • An appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
