Description

Permanent full-time position as a Civil Supervisor within an established family-owned construction business based in Darwin. For a Construction Supervisor, Earthworks Supervisor, or Civil Foreman interested in Supervising the construction of infrastructure within the territory.

• Minimum of 5 years experience supervising civil projects
• Salary dependent on experience with EBA terms
• Based in Darwin

A normal day includes

• Manage day-to-day operations on site, including overseeing plant, labor, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with HSE to ensure safety and environmental compliance on site.
• Develop and implement daily work plans and equipment deployment.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead daily briefings and coordinate with project management and subcontractors.
• Keep records of progress and resources and prepare reports for management.
• Address onsite issues and implement contingency plans to maintain project timelines.
• Train and guide team members, promoting safety and efficiency.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.

You will need

• Relevant qualifications and certificates including a white card.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar supervisory role in civil projects.
• Profound knowledge of QA, interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards applicable in civil construction.
• Competence with construction management software, GPS, and other relevant technologies.
• In-depth understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and project management.
