What is exciting about our client base is that they are looking to transform their businesses end-to-end, from the front to the back of the house.We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Lead Business Analyst who will join our Advisory team.Job DescriptionAs the Lead Business Analyst in our team you will lead teams and consult on projects to our mid-market clients. You will be exposed to a range of industries and sectors. Under the direction of a Partner and/or Director, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Leading a team of Business Analysts and working in a dynamic environment where you will allocate tasks and balance workload, support junior colleagues to build their capabilities;
  • Providing guidance on the use of methods and tools and provide feedback on the quality of deliverables;
  • Developing business architectures and service models;
  • Defining current and future state process taxonomies and process designs;
  • Performing requirements gathering, use case and user story development, and developing functional specifications and technical documentation;
  • Working with the relevant business and technology stakeholders to define business needs and leading the development of Business Needs Assessments and Business Case documentation;
  • Developing budgets and benefit models to support the articulation of the business case in financial terms;
  • Supporting solution design processes to ensure alignment to business needs and traceability to business requirements;
  • Assisting in defining test plans and test cases based on business requirements;
  • Assessing and identifying opportunities for process improvement and continuous improvement;
  • Supporting the definition and resolution of complex risks and issues especially where interdependencies exist across workstreams or projects;
  • Leveraging or developing the tools, templates and artefacts to support the Business Analyst functions on client engagements;
  • QualificationsThis role will call for highly developed client facing consulting skills, a strong focus on delivering high quality outcomes and a solid understanding of business analysis practices.To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and demonstrable experience could include:
  • A proven track record in business analysis;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience and knowledge of business analysis frameworks and methodologies;
  • Experience in design, delivery and management of business analysis practices across the transformation program lifecycle;
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring;
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities;
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
