Requisition ID Posted - Woolworths Supermarkets - NSW - Full-time - Commercial Senior Quality Control Officer - Wyong DC Positioned in our Fruit & Veg team this role is responsible for leading all quality assurance activities at our Wyong Distribution Centre ( located on Central Coast NSW ) which services 80 stores.
Wyong based role, Tuesday - Saturday roster 2am -10.30am shifts (may vary) Work closely with various internal stakeholders including the Distribution Centre, Buying and Store teams.

What you'll do This role requires you to be working within a refrigerated environment for the majority of your shift.
Validate the compliance with product quality and labelling specifications set by the Woolworths quality assurance team and Government Legislation Develop and maintain efficient rosters and succession plans in Quality Control to increase team productivity and bring to life flexibility Collaborate with the Commercial Buying Team to ensure we are delivering the best quality offer for store operations to enhance customer experience Assist the Fruit and Veg leadership team with key metrics and Ways of Working, provide valuable and constructive feedback for the purposes of recognition and development opportunities Report to the Fruit & Vegetables Operations Manager and working alongside the buying teams to deliver safe, quality products in line with Woolworth's specifications and company KPI's What you'll bring Proven experience leading a developing a high performing and diverse team Previous experience managing the performance, development, and engagement of direct reports Firm understanding of supermarket retailing, commercial and supply chain processes Demonstrated the ability to make changes that result in quantifiable business benefits Previous experience in Fruit & Veg or Fresh industries would be an advantage to ensure you are set up for success in this role Everyone belongs at Woolworths Group Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
