    Financial Analyst - Sustainability Reporting

    About this Role

    You will support the delivery of Tourism Australia's sustainability strategy, goals, and targets and Annual Reporting requirements. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and manage our sustainability reporting systems and serve as the in-house technical expert for the delivery of applicable standards and laws, creating sustainability reports and ESG disclosures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the collection of data, data management, and analysis of ESG data and sustainability metrics
    • Improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to maximise the value derived from our data
    • Support the preparation of sustainability reports and other reports as required

    What We're Looking For

    • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a finance and/or analyst role, with at least 12 months in sustainability data management and reporting frameworks
    • Tertiary level qualifications in a related field including finance, sustainability, business or accounting
    • Strong understanding of financial and sustainability reporting systems and principles
    • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to distil complexity concisely
    • High attention to detail with experience and ability to work in a highly numerate and analytical environment. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential
    • Ability to communicate with key internal and external stakeholders
    • Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality corporate reporting, policy, or research documents
    • Experience in interpreting and applying policy, legislation, and reporting standards is highly regarded
    • Project management skills
    • Problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and provide solutions
    • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced evolving environment
