Join Our Team as a Payments Assurance Manager

Are you ready to lead and drive transformative change within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Payments Assurance Manager. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our payment assurance strategy while leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Scope & Overall Purpose of the Job:

As the Payments Assurance Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our Subcontractor Payment Assurance team within Integrated Business Services. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement our payment assurance strategy, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute strategy and drive outcomes autonomously, planning and coordinating activities with direct and indirect teams.
• Lead the newly created Payment Assurance function, stabilizing operations from projects to BAU.
• Build a culture of growth mindset and drive change while maintaining high engagement within the team.
• Manage 3rd party deliveries and resources, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of results.
• Interpret payment objectives and translate them for team members, ensuring alignment with day-to-day activities.
• Lead the development of documentation for processes and data retention, ensuring compliance with policy and governance frameworks.
• Proactively identify opportunities for business growth and propose best practices for subcontractor payment processes.
• Maximize profitability and ensure high standards of safety and environmental sustainability.

Required Skills & Capabilities:

• Track record of leadership and team development in a diverse environment.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Adaptability in responding to evolving industry trends and organizational needs.
• Curious and adaptable to evolving challenges, with a goal and outcome-oriented mindset.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in finance or payroll administration.
• Strong understanding of accounting/payroll processes and ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing 3rd party partners and consultancy background is highly beneficial.
