    Description

    Our client is a Globally listed ASX company who provides technical resources and solutions. They employ over 400 people across IT Infrastructure, Applications Development, Cyber and Web Security, Service Delivery, Governance Risk & Compliance and Product Development who support their wider organisation.

    Due to company growth, they now have an immediate requirement for a Cloud Engineer/F5 SME to support Network Application Delivery and Security. You will be working across BAU activities and enhancement projects, whilst bringing a best practice approach to this complex on-premise environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and assess network security architecture, design, configure, make recommendations
    • Engage internal stakeholders across operations and monitoring teams
    • Operationalisation of network and security elements in the cloud environment
    • Interpret and write complex F5 iRules
    • Scoping new solutions with third parties and vendors for network and security hardware and software
    • Plan and perform upgrades and patching activities

    About you:

    • Extensive enterprise level Engineering experience
    • Background working in large complex organisations providing advanced troubleshooting capability
    • F5 qualification and practical deep level skills in including design, implementation and support of solutions for network application delivery
    • Experience working in on-premise Data Centre (SDDC network security technology using F5, Checkpoint, Cisco and NSX)
    • Proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and collaborative work style
