    About your role

    As a Project Manager at Unita, you will report into the General Manager and join a high calibre of employees in our project delivery team. You will be in charge of delivering several projects within specified timeframes and budgetary amounts, whilst ensuring they are delivered to a high level of quality and service excellence.

    This role is based in our Fortitude Valley office, in the heart of Brisbane, close to public transport

    What your days will look like

    • Manage and deliver projects in line with project documentation - considering scope, quality, and safety requirements.
    • Work in line with Unita group project management framework - delivering high-quality projects.
    • Provide a link between design, building services, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Develop and build client trust through excellent project delivery - helping to expand the business.
    • Develop and manage relationships with key internal and subcontract stakeholders.
    • Track costs and produce forecast reports to be presented back to the construction director.
    • Ensure all compliance and contractual obligations are met.
    • Lead your contract administrator and/or project coordinator and site team to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to goal GP.

    What you will bring to the role

    • Minimum of 5 years' fit-out experience within retail, hospitality, health, or commercial sectors.
    • Tertiary qualification in construction manager or similar.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project, as well as other industry-relevant software platforms.
    • Ability to lead and manage a construction team to achieve agreed outcomes.
    • Highly driven and self-motivated to deliver successful projects.
    • Able to reflect on personal performance and utilise feedback for own learning and development.
    • The ability to foresee roadblocks, and successfully troubleshoot and manage issues as they arise.
    • Operate in line with Unita's values and make a positive contribution to the company's culture.
