Operational Support Engineer - Brisbane City, Australia - Zone IT Solutions

Description

We are looking for Operational Support Engineer based in the Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane location to join a global IT service provider for a permanent role.

• Experience in technology operations best practices, including patching, maintenance, standard operating environments, and security.
• Experience supporting Windows Server(2008 R2 and above).
• Experience supporting Active Directory and related roles & services (DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, Federation Services, AAD)
• Experience supporting VMware 7.0, Exposure to Redhat Linux (7/8) & supporting Microsoft 365, AAD, ADFS, and hybrid Exchange deployments.
• Exchange 2013 and higher.
  • Familiar with Storage / Hyper Convergedconcepts (e.g SAN, FC, iSCSI, Nutanix)
• Cloud Services exposure (AWS preferred)
  • ITIL v4 experience or qualifications are desirable (Foundations or above)
• 2+ years of proven IT experience managing, supporting, and implementing WindowsServer, Active Directory, and other Microsoft products within the enterprise-sized organization.
• 2+ years of proven IT experience managing, supporting, and implementing VMWare products within an enterprise-sized organisation
• Experience within an enterprise-sized ICTorganisation, maintaining and supportingcomplex, business-critical 24x7 services
  • Proven experience in troubleshootingand solving technical issues.
• • Skills in automation and scripting eg.Python, Powershell, Chef, VMWare vRAor Orchestrator would be an advantage
  • Skills in Docker or other Containerizationtechnologies.
