    Our clients are predominantly from the resource sector, and we have a growing business in water dam and hydropower sector.

    We have an opportunity for a highly motivated Management Accountant to manage the reporting and business analysis requirements for our Australian company, a subsidiary of a multi-national engineering consulting firm with the Head Office in Canada.

    The business unit comprises legal entities in Australia, Indonesia (future) and Papua New Guinea.
    The position is located in Brisbane and reports to the Finance Manager.

    Key responsibilities:
    Monthly Financial reporting.
    Quarterly OP Com reporting.
    Weekly office performance reports.
    Weekly update of backlog report.
    Implementation and writing of Power BI reports.
    Expense Reporting (e.g.
    training cost/time, discretionary expenditure, staff utilization planned & actual hours).

    Required qualifications, experience and competencies:
    Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
    Experience in a professional services firm or other project oriented company desirable.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products; advanced knowledge of Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables etc.) and experience with BST (or other project based system) is an asset.

    Experience with and competency in using Power Bi.
    General ledger accounting system implementation and integration - a strong plus.
    A strong track record of identifying process improvement with automation methods to create efficiency.
    Self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile when needed; excellent time management skills.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Highest standard for integrity, accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
